Travis Kelce is venturing into the world of television acting, making his debut on the set of Ryan Murphy’s new series, “Grotesquerie.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was spotted in full attire for the show on May 8, dressed sharply in an all-white ensemble as he prepared for his role.
Photos captured him navigating the set, script in hand, ready to dive into his new challenge.
Kelce is joining a cast that includes prominent actors Niecy Nash-Betts and Courtney B. Vance. On set, Vance was seen in a doctor’s costume, complete with a lab coat and stethoscope, while Nash-Betts was elegant in a black dress. The FX series has just begun production and is expected to premiere this fall.
Adding to the excitement, Nash-Betts shared a behind-the-scenes video on social media, introducing Kelce as her new co-star. “Guys, guess who I am working with on ‘Grotesquerie’?” she teased before revealing Kelce, who expressed his enthusiasm about stepping into new territory. The duo appeared in high spirits, hinting at the dynamic they will bring to the series.

This acting role follows Kelce’s recent announcement as the host of the rebooted game show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” on Prime Video. He expressed his excitement about hosting, acknowledging his fondness for game shows and his eagerness to see how celebrities fare in this new version.
With “Grotesquerie,” Kelce is not only expanding his television presence but also exploring diverse roles that showcase his versatility beyond the football field.
