We’re still one day away from the NFL’s full schedule release, but we already have an idea of which teams could face the easiest and hardest paths in 2024.
On Tuesday, the league unveiled the strength of schedule for all 32 teams based on their opponents’ win percentages from the previous year.
According to the data, the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints are tied for the weakest strength of schedule (SoS) this upcoming season at .453.

This isn’t too surprising given the NFC South’s performance in recent years and the struggles both teams have faced.
The Saints finished 9-8 in 2023, an improvement from 7-10, but still not enough to make the playoffs. The Falcons have also finished 7-10 in each of the past three seasons, a familiar mark for the team.
Atlanta’s schedule should give head coach Raheem Morris an opportunity to build some positive momentum in Year 1 of his tenure.
However, this offseason has been a bit tumultuous for the organization after drafting Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. eighth overall despite signing Kirk Cousins to a four-year, $180 million deal with $100 million guaranteed in March.
As for the hardest schedules, three of the top four teams are from the AFC North (Cleveland, Baltimore, Pittsburgh), with the Cincinnati Bengals somewhere in the middle at .502.
