The NFL continually generates a vast amount of content. During the Thursday night matchup between Chicago and Washington, fans grew suspicious of an individual holding a cell phone behind Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.
This person was notably sporting a Commanders phone case, leading to speculation about potential cheating by Ron Rivera’s team.

Fortunately, the NFL swiftly addressed these rumors. It was clarified that the person positioned behind Getsy was, in fact, a uniform inspector assigned to oversee the Bears-Commanders game.
“It was one of the two uniform inspectors assigned to the game, Ravin Caldwell,” spokesman Brian McCarthy told Pro Football Talk.
Interestingly, Caldwell had a playing stint with Washington spanning from 1987 to 1992.
Another uniform inspector present during Thursday night’s game was Ricky Ervins, who was part of the nation’s capital team from 1991 to 1994.
Despite the potentially misleading appearance of images from the Bears-Commanders game, it seems evident that the NFL was well aware of the situation.
Moreover, it’s worth noting that the Commanders did not gain any on-field advantage. In fact, they suffered a substantial defeat at the hands of Justin Fields and the Bears.
