Former Illinois football star Tip Reiman made headlines at the NFL Combine with a jaw-dropping declaration: he firmly believes that birds are not what they seem!
For those unfamiliar with the reference, the “Birds Aren’t Real” movement gained traction a few years back when Peter McIndoe humorously proposed a conspiracy theory suggesting that birds are actually government surveillance drones.
This tongue-in-cheek idea has since captured the imagination of many, including Reiman.

Reiman, who had an impressive season with 203 yards and three touchdowns, didn’t shy away from his allegiance to the movement during a press conference at the Combine. He surprised reporters with a series of questions and statements that supported his unconventional belief.
While some observers may dismiss Reiman’s stance as a joke, others draw parallels to Aaron Rodgers, who has expressed unconventional views in the past.
But Reiman’s assertion wasn’t the only eyebrow-raising comment to emerge from the Combine. Texas Tech standout Tyler Owens also made waves by revealing his skepticism about the existence of other planets and voicing support for certain arguments made by flat-earthers.
In a world where peculiar beliefs seem to abound, Reiman and Owens certainly stand out.
