Once again, the NFL Players Association has released its annual league-wide survey, providing insights into the rankings of coaches, owners, training rooms, and more, as rated by over 1,700 players.
In a statement, the NFLPA highlighted the importance of this survey in aiding players in making critical career decisions while also striving to elevate standards across the league, particularly in supporting players and their families.

Unsurprisingly, former Las Vegas Raiders coach Josh McDaniels received the lowest grade among head coaches in this year’s survey, earning a D. McDaniels’ tenure with the Raiders ended abruptly after a disappointing 3-5 start to the season, marked by evident discord within the locker room.
However, the mood in Las Vegas shifted dramatically following McDaniels’ departure and the appointment of Antonio Pierce as his replacement. Pierce’s arrival brought about a positive transformation, ultimately securing him the full-time head coaching position for the Raiders this offseason.
While McDaniels may have ranked at the bottom of this year’s survey, the silver lining is that he won’t occupy the same position next year, primarily because he did not secure another coaching job.
On the contrary, Andy Reid, head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, claimed the top spot among all head coaches in the survey. Reid’s accolade comes as no surprise, considering his recent success in leading the Chiefs to another Super Bowl victory.
