Imagine turning down $10 billion dollars.
Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has declined a massive $10 billion offer to sell the team, Hard Rock Stadium, and the Formula One Miami race, according to a report by Safid Deen.
Ross, who acquired the majority stake in the Dolphins in 2009 for $1 billion and now holds 95% ownership with Wayne Huizenga owning the remaining 5%, is not motivated by financial reasons to sell. Instead, he aims to keep the assets within his family, as Deen notes.

This decision underlines the high value outsiders place on franchises like the Dolphins.
Despite the team’s modest success under his ownership—reaching the playoffs only three times without a single playoff win since 2000—Ross remains committed to the organization.
The team, buoyed by offensive stars like Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill, looks towards the 2024 season to end their playoff win drought and achieve greater success.
