During a recent FOX pre-game segment featuring the 49ers-Packers matchup, a split screen displaying Green Bay’s wideout Romeo Doubs and the Niners’ tight end George Kittle unintentionally captured Kittle flashing a gesture towards someone off-screen.
Kittle has a history of provocative incidents throughout his career. Earlier this season, he revealed a controversial undershirt with a message directed at the Cowboys after a decisive 42-10 victory. This act resulted in a $13,659 fine.
In the past, he openly acknowledged a teammate’s NSFW nickname and, following last year’s NFC Championship loss, expressed strong language during media availability.
In this particular incident, it seems to be a case of unfortunate timing by the Fox camera crew, attempting to highlight the two players for a gambling prop that garnered little interest.

Despite occasional controversies, Kittle has managed to keep a relatively low profile this season, thanks to an outstanding performance on the field. In the 16 games played, he achieved 1,020 receiving yards, the highest among tight ends in the league. This marked the third time in his career that Kittle surpassed 1,000 receiving yards.
Additionally, he contributed 65 catches, six touchdown receptions, and earned a well-deserved first-team All-Pro selection
