Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins suffered a devastating injury that ended his 2023 season early in October.
Now, NFL Insider Tom Pelissero has given an update on Cousins’ recovery from the torn Achilles.

Cousins is reportedly “ahead of schedule” according to Pelissero and “will be throwing in the next month.”
Cousins is a free agent and there are questions around his future in Minnesota. The Atlanta Falcons seem like a potential landing spot for the veteran quarterback.
Cousins was in the midst of one of his best seasons before the Week injury as he threw for 2,331 yards and 18 touchdowns over eight games.
If the Vikings move on from Cousins, he will be the most notable quarterback available in free agency.
