The NFL has imposed a fine on Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens for an unsportsmanlike penalty during Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Pickens received a $16,391 fine for the unsportsmanlike conduct, which occurred with 9:47 remaining in the third quarter. The penalty was incurred as Pickens pointed at the Bengals defender while making his way to the endzone for his second touchdown reception. Interestingly, he was not penalized for this action during the actual game.

Despite the fine, Pickens had an impressive performance in the game, concluding with four receptions for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
This marks the third fine for Pickens this season, with the initial two occurring in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams. Notably, that game was also the last time Pickens surpassed the 100-yard mark in receiving yards.
Looking ahead to the next game against the Seattle Seahawks, Pickens aims for another standout performance as Mason Rudolph takes on his second start. Following his remarkable 195-yard display against the Bengals, Pickens surpassed 1,000 yards in a season for the first time in his career.
