Kristin Juszczyk has been granted a license by the NFL to incorporate the league’s marks in her apparel designs, following the viral success of a custom jacket she crafted for Taylor Swift.
Known as the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, Kristin gained widespread recognition when the popstar and her friend Brittany Mahomes sported matching jackets she designed for the Kansas City Chiefs’ wild-card round game against the Miami Dolphins. Crafted from Travis Kelce’s No. 87 and Patrick Mahomes’ No. 15 Chiefs jerseys, the unique puffer jackets gained immense popularity, leading to a licensing deal with the NFL, as reported by Sportico. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
With this licensing agreement, Kristin Juszczyk now has the authority to use the NFL’s mark in her future apparel designs. Having regularly showcased her designs while supporting her husband and other 49ers WAGs like Olivia Culpo, Kristin is expected to unveil innovative creations for the upcoming Super Bowl, where the San Francisco 49ers will face Taylor and Brittany’s Chiefs on February 11 in Las Vegas.
Capitalizing on the enormous exposure provided by Taylor Swift’s 279 million Instagram followers and the extensive viewership expected for the Super Bowl, Juszczyk’s designs have a unique marketing opportunity.
Apart from Taylor Swift, other notable figures such as Olympic legend Simone Biles, actor Taylor Lautner, Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson, and 49ers teammate Deebo Samuel have also adorned Kristin Juszczyk’s striking designs.
Kristin, who attended the University of Rhode Island before transferring to Townson University, discovered her passion for sewing at a young age. Despite not studying fashion in college, she now runs her own business, creating custom pieces for some of the sports world’s prominent figures. Her journey into the world of fashion design began as she crafted Halloween costumes during her time at Townson, where she met Kyle Juszczyk, who was playing for the Baltimore Ravens at that time.
The couple married in 2019 after Kyle signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2017.
