After star wide receiver Davante Adams requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday, Los Angeles Rams fans wasted no time applying pressure on general manager Les Snead to make a move. One fan even took an unconventional approach by reaching out to Snead’s wife, Kara Henderson Snead, on X (formerly Twitter) to push the idea forward.
The fan tagged Kara in a tweet that included a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, which said the Raiders were open to trading Adams for a package that would likely include a second-round pick and additional compensation.
The fan implored Kara to “Please forward to Les,” hoping she could influence her husband’s decision-making.
Kara, known for her sense of humor and candid responses on social media, didn’t miss a beat. She replied with a witty explanation of why her influence wouldn’t exactly move the needle on a potential Rams trade for Adams.

“So let me get this straight… you want the GM’s wife to forward a tweet to him… someone who has chosen not to have social media… telling him about things that he already knows about… with the undercurrent being that you want to tell him what to do on his job,” Kara wrote, humorously calling out the absurdity of the situation.
Her reply quickly gained attention, as fans continued to flood her mentions with trade suggestions and comments. One user humorously responded, “JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT,” to which Kara quipped back, “Civil discourse and Clase Azul tequila. There. I said it,” adding a pair of laughing emojis.
In another exchange, a fan acknowledged how stressful Les Snead’s job must be, writing, “Couldn’t even imagine how much is on your husband’s plate right now. Not envious at all, and this isn’t Madden, you can’t just trade for everyone lol.” Kara responded with another lighthearted comment, “Let me tell you what is most certainly NOT on his plate… my suggestions. Or if you know him… anything you would actually enjoy eating. Weird diet.”
She followed up with a gentle reminder to fans: “Guys… they have a LOT to get to…” hinting at the complexities involved in managing an NFL team.
The Rams, currently 1-3, could certainly use some reinforcements, especially at the wide receiver position. Star players Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua have been sidelined with injuries, leaving the Rams offense struggling to find consistency. Acquiring a top-tier receiver like Adams could provide the spark the team needs, but as Kara subtly reminded fans, trades aren’t as simple as they might seem in a video game.
Adams, who has recorded 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown this season, missed the Raiders’ recent win over the Browns due to a hamstring injury. Despite the injury, Adams remains one of the most dangerous wide receivers in the league, making him a prime target for trade speculation.
While Rams fans continue to hold out hope for a blockbuster deal, the team is focused on their upcoming matchup against the Green Bay Packers in Los Angeles.
Whether or not Les Snead takes their trade suggestions seriously, it’s clear Kara is more than capable of handling the social media storm with grace and humor.
