If the New York Jets decide to trade quarterback Zach Wilson, don’t expect them to get much.
ESPN’s Rich Cimini reportedly talked to a handful of NFL people to get a grasp on what Zach Wilson’s trade value is.

Cimini mentioned that one assistant coach said his “arm talent” will generate some interest, but that there were other concerns surrounding Wilson.
Another assistant reportedly had a much more brutal take on Wilson’s trade value.
“I’d give up a two-week stay at a Best Western. Not a fan.”
Wilson was drafted second overall out of BYU in the 2021 NFL Draft as the Jets were hoping that they had found their quarterback of the future.
During his time with the Jets, Wilson has largely disappointed, and this led to the Jets bringing in Aaron Rodgers as their signal caller last offseason. Of course, Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon just a couple of plays into the season and Wilson was back under center for the majority of the 2023 season.
Wilson was benched in November amid his continued struggles and was informed that the Jets would trade him this offseason.
It’s safe to assume that Wilson will not be wearing a Jets uniform in 2024.
