“Friendship is the ultimate vessel.”
All eyes are firmly fixed on this Sunday night’s clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets.
The reigning Super Bowl champions are embarking on an away game journey to take on the Jets, a team that garnered considerable preseason attention. However, on the grand stage of MetLife Stadium, the spotlight won’t be on any player sporting pads and helmets but rather on a special guest.

That guest of honor is none other than Taylor Swift, who is expected to grace the game in support of her new flame, Travis Kelce.
Initially, there were reports on Friday suggesting that the NFL planned to distribute friendship bracelets to Chiefs fans attending the game, akin to the ones often worn by fans at Swift’s concerts. These bracelets were intended as a symbol of support for Swift and Kelce.
However, according to insider Connor Hughes from SNY, it appears that the league and the Jets have decided against this gesture.
Here’s why this won’t be happening:
In order for YouTube/Sunday Ticket/other company to hand out friendship bracelets at the #Jets game vs the #Chiefs (outside stadium, concourse, other property) they would need the #NYJ approval.
Having talked to the person in charge of granting such approval, I can confidently say that the Jets will not grant any such approval/permission.
So no bracelets will be passed out by NFL, Jets.
The notion of gifting items to fans of the opposing team in another team’s stadium, especially during such a high-profile matchup, would indeed be unusual.
Jets fans can now breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that their stadium won’t be inundated with Chiefs fans or Swift aficionados seeking exclusive Taylor Swift merchandise come Sunday night.
