New York Yankees star slugger Giancarlo Stanton is back on the dating market.
According to a report by the New York Post, the MLB power hitter has ended his relationship with girlfriend Asiana Jayd “AJ” Hung-Barnes.
Stanton and Hung-Barnes, who works in hospitality, made their relationship public in May. However, the romance was short-lived. Sources revealed that Stanton, 34, and Hung-Barnes, 27, have been quietly seeing each other since 2022, but things came to a head shortly after their relationship went public.
An insider disclosed that Stanton decided to end the relationship and has since blocked his ex on Instagram and Snapchat. The source also mentioned that Stanton has been “seeing other women, but nothing serious” since the breakup.
In response, Hung-Barnes has removed all traces of Stanton from her private Instagram account. She also unfollowed the Yankees’ official page and cut ties with Stanton’s friends on social media.

Despite the off-field drama, Stanton has been performing well this season. He is currently hitting .246 with 18 home runs and 45 RBIs.
His contributions have been significant for the Yankees, who, despite recent struggles, hold a solid 55-37 record and remain strong contenders for the playoffs.
The Yankees are set to return to action on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:50 p.m. ET.
