The New York Knicks were on fire against the Detroit Pistons as the Knicks easily defeated the Pistons 124-99.
New York Knicks guard Donte Divincenzo hit 11 three-pointers, much to the chagrin of Pistons head coach Monty Williams.
Williams had an interesting perspective post-game on Divincenzo’s hot streak.
“’I don’t care about their team at all. I could care less. Those guys…the way they got their threes…I don’t want to be a part of their story.”
Williams is obviously frustrated as blowout losses have been all too common for the Pistons who sit near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.

Knicks guard Josh Hart is never shy to say what he thinks and issued this response to Williams.
“If he didn’t want to be part of the story, he should’ve told his guys to defend better. What else there to say? We’ve got a guy that’s hot. We’re going to try to find the guy that’s hot. That’s common sense in basketball.”
With the win, the Knicks improved to 43-28 while the Pistons fell to 12-60.
