New York Jets star quarterback Sauce Gardner didn’t hold back when sharing his thoughts on rapper Kendrick Lamar’s latest diss track aimed at Drake, adding fuel to their ongoing feud.
Gardner didn’t mince words, expressing his disappointment with Lamar’s delayed response and the overall quality of the diss track.
Despite the heated debate on social media about who’s winning this rap battle, Gardner made his allegiance clear: he’s firmly in Drake’s corner.
In a now-deleted message on X, Gardner questioned the three-week wait for Lamar’s response and emphasized his civilian status in the rap world.
“Waited 3 weeks for that??’ Gardner said in a now-deleted message on X. ‘And I’m a civilian.”
Nonetheless, he made it known that he was fully engaged in the Lamar-Drake rivalry.

Lamar’s track, “Euphoria,” finally dropped three weeks after Drake released “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” adding another layer to their escalating feud.
“LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, ITS OKAY TO BE A FAN OF DRAKE & KENDRICK. YALL ARE TOO DEEP IN,” Gardner continued on X.
“I’m lowkey sick I took that picture with Drake because now my opinion don’t hold no weight because y’all gon’ think I’m being biased when I really don’t care about they rap beef at all, but I get that y’all do so I’ll keep my comments to myself now. Carry on,” Gardner stated with several laugh emojis.
Gardner’s critique of “Euphoria” lacked specifics on what exactly didn’t resonate with him, especially notable considering his recent social media post featuring himself and Drake less than two weeks prior.
The rift between Drake and Lamar ignited last month when Lamar asserted that he and the “Hotline Bling” artist are not comparable in terms of talent and success.
Notably, Gardner’s NFL career has seen him named a first-team All-Pro in both of his first two seasons in the league.
