The New York Jets have heightened expectations for the upcoming season, bolstered by Aaron Rodgers’ return to full health.
Rodgers, who suffered a torn Achilles early last season, is poised for a strong comeback in New York. Despite this optimism, there remains a sense of apprehension among fans due to the offensive struggles witnessed after his injury in Week One.
During a recent interview with Adam Schein, Rodgers addressed these concerns directly, urging fans to have faith in him and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. “You should trust me and I trust Nathaniel,” Rodgers emphasized. “So, to me, that’s the end of the story. There’s been a lot of BS that’s been said out there. There are a lot of things that have gone on in the last couple of years that he’s dealt with that I think he’s handled very professionally.”

Rodgers further advocated for the strength of their partnership, saying, “At the end of the day, I think you gotta trust his and my working relationship and the conversations that we have. You gotta trust the staff.”
Having previously collaborated in Green Bay, where Hackett served as Rodgers’ offensive coordinator, the duo is familiar with each other’s style and approach. They are hopeful that their proven dynamic will translate into success as the 2024 season approaches in September.
