Ja Morant is a real gun enthusiast, real and fake.
It’s been speculated that Ja Morant’s NBA career may be jeopardized due to his reckless behavior on Instagram Live, where he’s been seen waving around what appears to be a gun.
However, a new video has surfaced showcasing that the gun in question may actually be fake.
In the clip from May 14, Ja Morant is seen using the “gun” — which is actually a lighter — to light candles and prove to his friends that it’s not real.
After his latest gun-waving incident on social media, the 23-year-old Memphis Grizzlies player was hit with a 25-game suspension by the NBA. Even though Ja was claiming it was just a toy gun in the second video that appeared. Clearly this gun proves he may have been telling the truth. But real or fake still not a good look.
Although Morant apologized and expressed his intention to improve his decision-making, his actions could cost him up to $7.5 million.
All for the sake of appearing tough with a fake weapon.
