Tennis star Novak Djokovic was hit in the head by a water bottle in Rome while signing autographs for fans which had many in an uproar assuming that it had been maliciously thrown at him.

Djokovic collapses to the ground and then was ushered into the tunnel where he is reportedly OK, but has been transported to medical hopefully to just get things checked out due to some nausea and headaches.

A new video angle of the incident has now emerged which may indicate that this was just an unfortunate accident and that nothing malicious was intended.
The water bottle appears to slip from a fan’s backpack and then strikes Djokovic in the head.
Djokovic had just easily defeated Corentin Moutet at the Italian Open in the round of 64 on Friday 6-3, 6-1.
Seeded first in the tournament, it is unclear at this time if Djokovic will be able to continue.
If he can, he is scheduled to take on Alejandro Tabilo on Saturday in the round of 32.
