The New England Patriots playfully stoked the excitement of Tom Brady fans with a recent announcement, capitalizing on ongoing speculation about the retired quarterback’s possible return to the field.
On Friday, the Patriots announced Tom Brady’s upcoming induction into the Patriot Hall of Fame with a clever tease: ‘So @TomBrady is back…. on June 12.’ The announcement was accompanied by a graphic of Brady donning his iconic No. 12 jersey, with the induction date, ‘6/12/24’, prominently displayed.
Additionally, the team offered fans a chance to win two tickets to the ceremony, heightening the anticipation.

Brady, who spent 20 seasons with the Patriots and secured six Super Bowl titles, had a legendary career in New England before moving to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There, he added another Super Bowl victory to his resume in 2021.
Following a brief retirement after his second season with the Buccaneers, Brady returned for another season before definitively retiring ‘for good’ after a playoff loss to the Dallas Cowboys in 2022.
Despite his retirement, rumors of another comeback have been swirling. Recently, on the show DeepCut with VicBlends, Brady expressed that he isn’t entirely closed off to the idea of playing again, although his current role as a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders complicates potential plans. “I’m not opposed to it,” Brady said. “I don’t know if they’re gonna let me be an owner and an NFL player.”
He continued, drawing a parallel with Michael Jordan’s famous comebacks: “I’m always gonna be in good shape. I’m always gonna be able to throw the ball. To come in for a bit like MJ coming back – I don’t know if they’d let me, but I would not be opposed to it.”
