Police tracked Aaron Brown through his cell phone number after he made threats via X.com, formerly Twitter, leading to his arrest at Arrowhead Stadium.
Brown’s actions resulted in a 40-minute delay of the Morgan Wallen concert as law enforcement assessed the risk and located him. Upon being charged with making a terroristic threat in the second degree, Brown admitted to making a “stupid, stupid mistake.”
Brown’s incriminating post read: “Mr. [redacted] at Arrowhead with the wife. If he brings out [redacted] or [redacted] I’ll take the f*in shot. Fk em! Also fk you bch!! [hand emoji with middle finger up twice],” which he posted on Elon Musk’s social media platform.
Aaron P. Brown, a 23-year-old from Winchester, Illinois, had been running the account named ‘Gooey Bag’ for around two years before the incident on Friday, August 2. Brown initially believed that his comments on the account would go unnoticed.

His girlfriend revealed that he used the account to post “stupid stuff” with his fraternity friends. She realized the seriousness of the situation only after she began receiving messages from unfamiliar numbers.
Brown, a fan of the Minnesota Vikings, made the threat while driving to the country music concert with his girlfriend from the Lake of the Ozarks. Despite her warnings against posting the threat, he went ahead with it.
Brown had never made threats online before and emphasized that it was a mistake on his part.
He was arrested around 9:30 PM at Arrowhead Stadium after the police tracked him down. His girlfriend described the situation as a momentary lapse in judgment that escalated far beyond their expectations.
In the aftermath, Brown acknowledged the gravity of his actions and expressed regret for the fear and disruption caused. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential consequences of irresponsible behavior online, especially when it involves threats against public figures.
The incident not only delayed the concert but also highlighted the serious implications of making threats on social media.
Brown now faces legal consequences for his actions, bringing to light the importance of understanding the impact of one’s words and actions in the digital age.
