The sequence of events leading to an alleged assault involving Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Rashee Rice at a Dallas nightclub was outlined in an offense report.
The incident unfolded when a man was hospitalized in the early hours of Monday morning with non-life-threatening injuries, including swelling on the left side of his face.
While the report, acquired by The Dallas Morning News, refrains from directly identifying Rice, the description of the “suspect” aligns with the wideout’s age, height, and weight.

Law enforcement officials have also informed The Dallas Morning News that the former SMU star is the alleged suspect in the incident.
According to the report, the victim was present at an after-hours event at the Lit Lounge & Feu Nightclub around 1:30 am, under the impression that he had been contracted to take photographs of the suspect.
Subsequently, the victim exited the premises shortly thereafter, only to receive an Instagram message from the suspect around 1:55 am, urging him to return to the establishment.
The report indicates that upon his return, the photographer was directed to the suspect’s whereabouts by other members of the suspect’s entourage.
Upon locating each other inside the club, the suspect instructed the photographer to review his Instagram messages.
Although the report does not specify the contents of the messages, it notes that the suspect struck the photographer on the left side of his face while he was looking at the suspect’s phone.
Despite verbal exchanges reported by two civilians familiar with the altercation, they claimed no physical contact occurred between the involved parties.
While Rice’s representatives have previously refrained from commenting on the accusation, the photographer has not responded to requests from The Dallas Morning News for a statement, both on Thursday and earlier in the week.
The latest allegations surfaced following Rice’s surrender to authorities after he purportedly caused a multi-vehicle collision that resulted in injuries to at least seven individuals in Dallas on March 30th.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, the 2024 Super Bowl champion was driving a vehicle at 199 mph, while SMU football player Teddy Knox drove another at 116 mph prior to the incident.
Authorities stated that footage revealed Rice and four other men leaving the scene after the crash without checking if anyone required medical assistance.
Both Rice and Knox were charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and six counts of collision involving bodily injury.
Following their surrender to authorities two weeks after the collision, the pair posted bond.
