The NBA is keeping a close eye on Bronny.
Bronny James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, is set to work out for a few select teams, including the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers, ahead of next month’s NBA draft, according to sources reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Doug Haller.
While James has received invitations from over ten teams, he plans to visit just a handful.

The Suns, who possess the No. 22 overall pick in the draft, are considering James for their first-round selection. James declared for the draft this April following his freshman year at USC where he played as a 6-foot-1 guard, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 25 games.
Since declaring, James has boosted his draft prospects with a strong performance at the NBA combine, including placing second in the 3-point star shooting drill and achieving the sixth-highest max vertical leap at 40.5 inches.
Amidst discussions of contract terms, James’ agent, Rich Paul, confirmed to Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes that they are ruling out a two-way contract for James. “Yes, that’s absolutely true,” said Paul. “Teams know that. I’m not doing that.”
