Not a good look.
Noah Gragson, a NASCAR driver, has been indefinitely suspended by his stock car team, Legacy Motor Club, following a controversial incident.
Gragson was originally scheduled to compete in the FireKeepers Casino 400 in Michigan, but was replaced by driver Josh Berry.
This decision came about after Gragson allegedly liked a meme on social media that made fun of George Floyd, an unarmed Black man who tragically died after a former police officer knelt on his neck.
Legacy Motor Club has taken a firm stance against Gragson’s actions, declaring that they do not align with the team’s values.
Gragson has expressed remorse for his behavior through a Twitter apology, acknowledging his inattentiveness and inappropriate actions on social media.
He emphasized his belief in treating everyone equally, regardless of their identity, and accepted responsibility for his mistake.
