The mother of David Harrington, one of three Kansas City Chiefs fans discovered deceased in January, is pressing for answers and accountability.
Alongside Harrington, 37, were Clayton McGeeney, 36, and Ricky Johnson, 38, all found frozen in a backyard after a Chiefs playoff victory.
Despite ongoing investigations by Kansas City Police, who currently do not suspect foul play, Jennifer Marquez, Harrington’s mother, expressed frustration over the lack of information released about the case.
“There’s no information being released, even though the police are still working from my understanding on the case,” Marquez told Fox News Digital. “Of course, any family is going to be frustrated. We were warned that it would take a while, but it’s so hard not having any information.”
Autopsy results have yet to be publicly disclosed, but reports suggest that THC, cocaine, and lethal levels of fentanyl were found in their systems. Marquez is adamant that the person or persons who provided the drugs should be held legally responsible. “My wishes are that the person or persons responsible for providing the substance that caused the deaths of Ricky, Clayton, and my son David are brought to justice,” she stated.
The tragic discovery of the three fans occurred on January 9, following the Chiefs’ playoff win over the Dolphins.
