Some things just shouldn’t mix.
MLB fans at this weekend’s interleague showdown between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees in the Bronx have the chance to snag one of the most unusual souvenirs of the season.
As the two iconic teams clash on the diamond, vendors around Yankee Stadium are offering an eye-catching split cap that combines the names and numbers of sluggers Aaron Judge of the Yankees and Shohei Ohtani of the Dodgers.
The cap is as quirky as it sounds.

Additionally, the Yankees are selling Ohtani jerseys at their stadium this weekend, despite it not being Ohtani’s debut at Yankee Stadium. The two-way phenom has played in 13 games, including two as a pitcher, at the Bronx ballpark during his time in the American League with the Los Angeles Angels from 2018 to 2023.
The reaction was swift on social media after MLB’s official accounts posted an image of the distinctive split hat.
Fans who purchase this hat will sport the names of two of baseball’s premier hitters.
As of this series, Ohtani boasts a .318/.385/.588 batting line with 15 home runs in 61 games, while Judge has a .289/.423/.658 slash line, leading the league with a 201 OPS+, alongside 19 doubles and 21 home runs in 64 games.
