Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested late Friday night near Los Angeles International Airport in California on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
The incident occurred when a West Los Angeles police officer noticed a white Rolls Royce obstructing a lane on the I-105 westbound to Sepulveda Boulevard northbound. According to ESPN’s Kevin Seifert, the officer found Addison asleep behind the wheel when he approached the vehicle.
Following a DUI investigation, Addison was taken into custody at approximately 11:36 p.m. PST. He was released about two hours later. Local authorities have not yet disclosed Addison’s blood alcohol content at the time of his arrest.

In California, the legal limit for blood alcohol concentration is 0.08%.
The Minnesota Vikings addressed the situation in a statement: “We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.”
Addison had been in Los Angeles the previous week to attend the premiere of the Netflix series “Receiver,” which features his Vikings teammate Justin Jefferson.
This is not Addison’s first encounter with law enforcement over a driving-related issue. Last July, he received a citation for reckless driving, which he attributed to a medical emergency involving his dog.
