Despite the Minnesota Vikings’ challenging season, they are standing firm when it comes to their most popular player.
The Vikings have no intention of trading quarterback Kirk Cousins, even in the face of their 0-3 season start and the New York Jets’ pressing need for an upgraded quarterback.
The initial report came from The Athletic’s Dianna Russini.
Is this the right decision?
“Jefferson isn’t going anywhere, Kirk could be in a few weeks,” one fan speculated.
“Even if they were considering it, they wouldn’t admit it, lol,” another fan humorously added.
“Not trading Cousins & tanking for Caleb is why the Vikings have been & will continue to be irrelevant,” one fan added.
“The idea of the Vikings trading Kirk Cousins to the Jets is a lazy, low-hanging pipe dream that plenty of people just won’t quit talking about,” Pro Football Talk added.
Meanwhile, the Vikings will be striving to secure their first win of the season as they face the Panthers on Sunday afternoon.
