Minnesota Twins closer Jhoan Duran recently made his return from the injured list, bringing back one of the most electrifying entrances in baseball.
Duran had been sidelined for the first month of the season due to a strained oblique muscle. His comeback was marked by an epic home debut in Friday night’s 5-2 victory against the Boston Red Sox at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minn. As Duran took to the mound, Twins fans illuminated the stadium with their cell phone lights, creating a spectacle reminiscent of a concert.
The atmosphere resembled more of a Pitbull concert than the typical entrance of a reliever emerging from the bullpen. Whoever conceived the idea for Duran’s entrance undoubtedly invested a considerable amount of effort into it.

Duran showcased his prowess by retiring the side in order and striking out two batters to secure his second save of the season.
While many MLB fans had previously regarded New York Mets closer Edwin Diaz’s intense entrance as unbeatable, Duran’s entrance has undoubtedly earned its place alongside Diaz’s in terms of sheer excitement and intensity.
