This move is a significant win for Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht, who aims to retain key players from the NFC South champions’ roster for the 2024 season. Despite aging, Evans continues to excel, showcasing his ability to get open and excel at every level of the game. His new contract, averaging $26 million per year, ranks him fourth among all wide receivers, highlighting the Bucs’ confidence in his enduring talent. This deal represents a substantial increase from Evans’ previous five-year, $82.5 million extension signed in 2018.
