Iowa women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder was not pleased following the team’s stunning loss to Nebraska.
Mics caught Bluder complaining about a “sad trombone” being played as star guard Caitlin Clark missed a pair of free throws.
Bluder was also not happy that Nebraska, who was the home team, spoke to the media first saying that it’s “not Big Ten protocol.” Usually, the visiting team speaks with the media first.

Clark scored 31 points in the game, but Iowa allowed Nebraska to come back from a 14-point deficit and lost the game 82-79.
Clark said that she “didn’t even notice” the “sad trombone” being played during her free throws.
The Hawkeyes are currently 22-3 and were the #2 ranked team in the nation before the loss to Nebraska.
Caitlin Clark is the heavy favorite to win her second straight National Player of the Year award as she averages 32.1 points per game to go along with 8.3 assists per game and 7.0 rebounds per game.
