What a major lapse in judgment.
Michigan State displayed a pregame quiz that included an image of Adolf Hitler on their videoboards prior to their game against No. 2 Michigan on Saturday night. The university later issued an apology for the highly inappropriate content, which was provided by an external source.

The image of Hitler, along with his birthplace, Austria, appeared on the videoboards, and it was visible for an extended period of time, even being shared on social media by some fans over an hour before the game began.
“MSU is aware that inappropriate content by a third-party source was displayed on the videoboard prior to the start of tonight’s football game,” Michigan State spokesman Matt Larson said. “We are deeply sorry for the content that was displayed, as this is not representative of our institutional values. MSU will not be using the third-party source going forward and will implement stronger screening and approval procedures for all videoboard content in the future.”
The pregame quiz content is typically shown on videoboards well in advance of the games.
