ESPN’s #1 guy is famous, but apparently he wasn’t on the guest list.
Stephen A. Smith expressed his frustration at not being invited to Michael Rubin’s annual Fourth of July white party during a recent episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show.
“You know, there was this little shindig in the Hamptons, a star-studded event in the Hamptons. I’m seeing Beyoncé and Jay-Z there. I’m seeing J. Lo there. I’m seeing LaLa Anthony and Kim Kardashian, Lori Harvey, Justine Skye, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner. I mean the list goes on and on.”
“I see the fellas there. Micah Parsons, James Harden was there. Joel Embiid was there. Jayson Tatum was there. Tobias Harris was there. You know, Tom Brady was there. Michael Rubin, I ain’t get no invite man,” he said. “It’s a’ight though. Thought I was your homie. Now you act like you don’t even know me. Alright, I understand, Michael Rubin. I understand.”

Smith revealed his disappointment and jokingly confronted Rubin, questioning their friendship.
He mentioned the star-studded guest list, which included notable names from the entertainment and sports industry.
Smith also wondered why fellow sports journalist Taylor Rooks received an invitation while he didn’t, speculating that it was because he didn’t look like her.
Rubin actually took to Twitter to respond to Smith.
I love you and you my guy!! @TaylorRooks might have got the special carve out to the no media rule – she came w my closet friends! But I really love you !!????

The party was indeed filled with A-list celebrities and entertainment, including impromptu performances and DJ sets.
Smith empathized with those who also didn’t receive an invite, as he didn’t get one himself.
What an egomaniac.
