Tyler Reddick delivered a memorable victory for his team owner, basketball legend Michael Jordan, with a dramatic win at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama on Sunday.
Following the race, Jordan shared a special moment with Reddick’s young son, Beau.
Reddick clinched his sixth NASCAR Cup Series victory amidst a chaotic final lap of the Geico 500. Jordan, who co-owns 23XI Racing with fellow NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin, was present at the track to witness his team’s triumph firsthand.

The excitement peaked as Reddick, piloting the No. 45 Camry, made a strategic high-side maneuver on the final turn. He navigated past leaders Michael McDowell and Brad Keselowski, who were contending for the lead.
A collision between McDowell’s No. 34 Ford Mustang and Keselowski’s vehicle cleared the path for Reddick, who surged ahead to seize the win.
This victory, marking the first for Reddick this season and the sixth for 23XI Racing since its inception in 2021, saw Reddick finish just 0.208 seconds ahead of Keselowski, with Noah Gragson of Stewart-Haas Racing taking third place. McDowell, after the incident, dropped to 31st position.
