Michael Buble is apparently a Shroom guy.
On Thursday night, the NHL finalized the teams for the All-Star Game through the assistance of celebrity captains responsible for selecting the rosters. Michael Bublé, one of the captains, unintentionally consumed an excess of magic mushrooms before the event began.
While Michael Bublé is widely recognized for his music and initial rise to fame as an old-school crooner, there’s more to his personality than meets the eye. In 2010, his ex-girlfriend criticized him for frequent marijuana use, citing it as a factor in their breakup.
Despite making efforts to clean up his act in subsequent years, the artist, who launched his own whiskey line in 2023, openly acknowledges his willingness to indulge in mind-altering substances for relaxation.

A devoted hockey fan, particularly of the Vancouver Canucks, Bublé was a natural choice for the NHL as one of the celebrity captains, along with Justin Bieber, Will Arnett, and Tate McRae. They were tasked with drafting the teams for the All-Star Game at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
During a press conference, Bublé shared that he accidentally ingested too many shrooms before hitting the ice. In his own words: “My buddy told me this is just a microdose of mushrooms, and he was lying. I’ll be honest, I thought I was in Blades of Glory for most of the time that I was out there until it sort of settled down, and I realized, ‘Holy s—, I’m at the NHL All-Star Game.'”
Bublé’s candid admission adds a touch of humor to the All-Star Game festivities, highlighting his lively and enjoyable persona.
