Micah Parsons took to social media to criticize Brock Purdy’s dismal performance during the 49ers quarterback’s outing against Baltimore on Monday night.
Purdy, who entered the game as the MVP favorite, had a forgettable performance, throwing four interceptions against the Ravens defense in a 33-19 loss.

Acknowledging that such games are inevitable even for the best, the Cowboys linebacker showed no mercy for the struggling Niners QB. Parsons went in on Purdy, suggesting that the latter is nothing but a fraud.
“Down 21 and there [are] no shots or development throws! Should tell you all you need to know!” he wrote on X.
Some fans found Parsons’ critique a bit rich, considering the Cowboys’ loss to the Dolphins the previous day, marking a second consecutive defeat. They also pointed to the blowout loss to San Francisco earlier in the season.
Meanwhile, Purdy took responsibility for the loss, acknowledging the need to watch plays, make better decisions, and contribute to the team’s success.
“I have to look myself in the mirror, watch the plays, get better, make some cleaner decisions, help my team put up points and score and protect the ball,” he admitted.
Reflecting on the challenging times, Purdy emphasized the importance of remaining consistent and real with oneself, regardless of success or failure.
Monday’s results left the 49ers tied with the Eagles and Lions at 11-4 in the NFC, promising a few more twists before the playoffs take shape. A potential playoff matchup between the Cowboys and Niners would certainly be intriguing, especially considering Parsons’ feelings toward the Niners’ starting QB, Brock Purdy.
