After the Dallas Cowboys’ surprising Wild Card round loss to the Green Bay Packers, Micah Parsons initially felt too embarrassed to show his face. However, it seems that feeling has faded, and he’s back engaging in friendly banter just a month later, this time with Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku.
Known for never shying away from smack talk, Parsons didn’t hold back when discussing Njoku’s Madden performance at a Pro Bowl event. He started by making playful jabs about the Browns and their recent disappointments.
“I thought he did amazing, he made great adjustments, he obviously showed why Cleveland is Cleveland…,” Parsons began before being interrupted by Njoku.
“Woah, woah, woah,” Njoku reacted. “One thing you gotta understand is, he said Cleveland is Cleveland, but we are both here, we’re both playing the Madden game, you gotta make it make sense,” Njoku pointed out, referencing both their teams not making the Super Bowl, hence their participation in the event together.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, sitting between them, supported Njoku, saying, “He does have a good point, bro, we all here.”
Njoku concluded by asking, “So what are you saying, Cleveland is Cleveland, Dallas is Dallas?”
Parsons responded with a shoulder shrug and a grin, saying, “Alright..alright.”

While the exchange was all in good fun among star Pro Bowlers, Njoku made it clear he wouldn’t tolerate any disrespect. Parsons, in this instance, had to accept the banter returned to him, as it was challenging to dispute Njoku’s logic.
Despite the lack of playoff success for the Cowboys, Browns, and Dolphins in recent years, the playful banter provided a humorous exchange between three of the league’s top players, regardless of their teams’ histories.
