Dallas Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons has responded to FS1’s Skip Bayless as their ongoing public feud escalates. Despite being a devoted Cowboys fan, Bayless has been consistently critical of Parsons, particularly after the team’s surprising loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round.
Parsons took notice when Bayless called him out, and their exchange intensified this week when Bayless questioned if Parsons wants to be a “commentator or a game-wrecker.”
In a viral video on the latest episode of “The Edge with Micah Parsons,” the 24-year-old linebacker addressed Bayless directly, stating, “Skip, I’ve never once asked you to hype me up… you did that because you saw what I was doing on the field… You’re the one that wanted me on your show, to come speak on your show. And I wanted to do my own route because of your bad ties and who you are. I did not want to be partnered with you.”

Parsons continued by asserting his accomplishments and challenging Bayless’s narrative, emphasizing his All-Pro status for three years and expressing his determination to be recognized as a top player. He concluded, “Whatever narrative that drives your boat.”
Bayless, known for provocative statements and controversial takes, has built a reputation for generating attention with his show “Undisputed” on FS1.
While his approach sparks debates and enrages fans, Parsons is not the first NFL star to engage in a public feud with Bayless. Despite Bayless’s critiques, it is acknowledged that Parsons has significantly impacted the Cowboys’ defense since his arrival in 2021, transforming them from a 28th-ranked scoring defense in 2020 to a top-10 group each year since Parsons joined the team.
