Sometimes you can’t have it all.
Kelly Stafford, the wife of Matthew Stafford, expressed her disappointment with the lack of enthusiasm from the crowd during the Los Angeles Rams’ recent home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and she didn’t shy away from sharing her thoughts on social media.
She took to Instagram and posted several videos of the game’s crowd. Kelly observed that the fans seemed unusually quiet when the Rams’ defense was on the field, and she didn’t hold back in admonishing them for not being more engaged in the game.
“When we were on defense, it was dead. Wish I had a video of that so you could hear and feel the difference. You can’t blame Rams fans for not wanting to pay the crazy ticket prices, but you also can’t blame the organization for running itself like a business because in the end, that’s what it is,” she wrote.

Kelly Stafford admitted that she doesn’t have a solution to the problem and inquired if other fanbases were experiencing similar issues.
“So I don’t know the solution, but what I do know is having a crowd makes a big difference, especially in close games.. just ask the niners, Steelers, and eagles. Tough to win in the nfl, even tougher when you have 15 out of 17 away games. Anyone a fan of another franchise where it’s like this as well? Would be surprised if it was just LA.. let us know!”
The most straightforward explanation is often the best one: Get back to winning, and do it consistently.
The Rams have struggled, going 5-13 in their last 18 games and suffering losses to teams they should have beaten.
The sooner the Rams regain their winning form, the sooner the crowd is likely to become more enthusiastic. However, it’s also worth considering that opposing team’s fans may be attracted to visiting Los Angeles. While it may not be on par with Las Vegas, it’s still a popular destination for NFL fans from other teams.
