Raiders owner Mark Davis may find valuable assistance from a close friend in his quest to right the Raiders’ ship.
After the recent dismissal of head coach Josh McDaniels, Mark Davis has once again taken on the task of hiring a new head coach. While Antonio Pierce is serving as the interim head coach until the end of the season, there will be a coaching vacancy to fill afterward. Pierce, of course, could make a strong case for himself in the process.

According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, Mark Davis is expected to turn to his friend, Tom Brady, for guidance when the time comes to make these crucial decisions.
“What’s next in Vegas? Sources tell me Mark Davis is expected to rely on team executives and would-be partial owner Tom Brady for advice on who to lead the team,” Jones said on NFL Today. “After a package deal last time, Davis will likely hire a GM first, and then a player-centric head coach after the season.”

Brady and Davis have maintained a strong and enduring friendship. Brady has already invested in the WNBA’s Vegas Aces, which is also owned by Davis. It raises the question of whether Brady advised the Raiders owner to part ways with McDaniels, considering their close relationship during their time together with the Patriots.
It appears that Tom Brady’s influence within the franchise is steadily growing, and it may only be a matter of time before he takes on a more significant role in running the entire organization.
