Marcus Jordan drew attention for a controversial reason on August 7.
Photos of the former basketball player circulated widely on social media, depicting him in a seemingly compromised situation.
In these photos, Jordan is seen sitting with a group of friends at an outdoor table, apparently using a metal device to snort a white substance.
While the exact nature of the substance remains unconfirmed, it appears to be something illegal.

This incident is not the first time Jordan’s partying habits have attracted public scrutiny.
In 2010, he sparked controversy by spending $35,000 at Haze nightclub in the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. He even tweeted about the extravagant night out, writing, “Last night was stupid… 35K at Haze,” followed by, “Totals 50K something.” This led to an investigation, as he was with his college basketball team at the time.
Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, also made headlines in 2012 when he was arrested.
According to Bleacher Report, he was found arguing with two women at an Embassy Suites in Omaha, Nebraska. Jordan, who had been drinking, was described by police as “animated, intoxicated, and uncooperative” during the incident. He was released shortly after, but his smiling mugshot left a lasting impression on fans.
Recently, Jordan was photographed in France with his new girlfriend.
However, his previous relationship with Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of his father’s former teammate Scottie Pippen, continues to make news. In an appearance on the “Amy & T.J.” podcast, Larsa Pippen discussed their breakup, saying, “We’re on a different journey. I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing, and what he’s doing. I want him to be happy… It’s where we are right now.” She also mentioned that their age gap was a challenging factor.
Marcus Jordan has yet to comment on the viral photos involving the white substance.
