Breaking up is hard to do.
Marcus Jordan fired back at his ex, Larsa Pippen, accusing her of “rewriting history” in the aftermath of their second breakup.
The son of basketball legend Michael Jordan took to Instagram with a since-deleted Story, suggesting that Pippen was chasing “clout” by making statements on a podcast with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, where she claimed Marcus wasn’t her ideal partner.
“I wasn’t born last night. Rewriting history for clout is not cute,” Marcus, 33, wrote in a since-deleted Instagram Story. “Funny how ppl change, just to be part of a conversation that’s irrelevant. Why give shorty a heart, when she rather have press. Ooooohhh thats [sic] nerve.”

Pippen and Jordan initially split in early February but reunited before Valentine’s Day. However, their reconciliation was short-lived, and they parted ways again in March.
According to a source, Pippen wanted to focus on herself, feeling overwhelmed by the relationship’s intensity. Friends and fellow “RHOM” cast members are reportedly excited to support Pippen during her single phase.
Confirming her single status and readiness to mingle, Pippen stated in her podcast interview with Holmes and Robach that she and Marcus were on different paths.
“I need to stay true to myself and my goals, as does he. I want him to find happiness,” Pippen shared. “He’s a wonderful person, but I don’t believe he’s the one for me.”
Pippen dismissed suggestions that their 16-year age gap played a role in the breakup, citing past relationships with older men who were less mature.
“It’s not about age,” she emphasized. “It’s about where we are in life right now.”
While filming a show for two weeks, Pippen gained clarity about her feelings for Marcus, realizing he may not be the right fit for her. With four children from her previous marriage to Scottie Pippen, Larsa is focusing on her family and career.
The pair’s romance began in September 2022, with their relationship going public on Instagram in January 2023.
