Veteran NHL goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury went all out for Halloween this year, showing off his sense of humor and love for classic comedies. His wife, Veronique Fleury, gave fans a peek at his hilarious costume by posting a photo on Instagram of what he wore to the Minnesota Wild’s Halloween party.
Fleury arrived dressed as McLovin, the iconic character from the 2007 comedy hit “Superbad.”
Fleury fully embraced the character, complete with the unmistakable Hawaii ID badge that McLovin famously carried in the film.
Without the ID, some might have guessed he was channeling Aladdin or perhaps a quirky Irish R&B singer—but the McLovin details made his outfit unmistakable.
Not only did Fleury’s costume bring plenty of laughs, but it also sparked nostalgia for fans of the movie.
