Maralee Nichols refuses to let a troll’s comment slide, even if it puts Tristan Thompson in an unfavorable light.
The health and fitness enthusiast clapped back at a now-deleted Instagram comment that labeled her a “one night stand” for Tristan Thompson. In response, she asserted, “I was definitely not a one night stand. That’s a false and defamatory statement you’re making about me.”
This exchange occurred earlier in the week after Nichols shared a post flaunting her toned figure in a metallic gold dress. The accompanying video offered a glimpse of the dress’s plunging back as Nichols walked through a hall adorned with illuminated Christmas trees.
Captioning the post, she wrote, “December is my favorite month?. Sagittarius season and Christmas ?.”
As followers are aware, Nichols is the mother of Thompson’s only child, Theo, born on December 1, 2021. This period coincided with a paternity suit involving Thompson and Khloé Kardashian, who was expecting their second child via surrogate. Tatum, their son, was born in August 2022.
In January 2022, Thompson confirmed paternity with Nichols and apologized to Kardashian for infidelity. Amid the paternity controversy, Nichols told E! News that Thompson informed her he was “single and co-parenting” when they got together around his 30th birthday in 2021.

Thompson, a Cleveland Cavaliers player, is also the father of daughter True, 5 (with Kardashian), and 6-year-old son Prince (with ex Jordan Craig). In July, he faced criticism for seemingly favoring Tatum over his other children in a public birthday post.
Despite this, Nichols celebrated Theo’s 2nd birthday this month with a train-themed party, while Thompson did not publicly acknowledge the occasion.
