A man has been officially charged for allegedly hitting former NFL star wide receiver Terrell Owens with his car.
The incident occurred last fall following a heated altercation between Owens and the man, identified as Wonzur Ratcliff. Reports suggest the argument originated from a pickup basketball game in California, escalating to the point where Ratcliff allegedly got into his car and drove into Owens.
Owens hinted at the incident on social media, stating, “ABOUT LAST NIGHT…BUT I DO HAVE A RIGHT TO PROTECT MYSELF. *hope the car is ok!!!”
According to TMZ Sports, court records reveal that Ratcliff is facing two felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly ramming his vehicle into Owens’ knee on October 16, 2023. Law enforcement officials claimed the altercation occurred during a dispute between Ratcliff and Owens while playing basketball in the Calabasas, California area.
