The Portland Trail Blazers have officially traded their guard, Damian Lillard, to join forces with Giannis Antetokounmpo in the Milwaukee Bucks. This transaction is part of a three-team deal involving the Phoenix Suns, as announced by the respective teams on Wednesday.
In exchange for Lillard, the Blazers will acquire Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, Milwaukee’s 2029 unprotected first-round draft pick, and unprotected Milwaukee swap rights in 2028 and 2030, as outlined in the official release.
The Suns will receive Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little, and Keon Johnson as part of this comprehensive trade package.

It is anticipated that the Blazers will engage in trade discussions with competitive teams to move Holiday, according to sources reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
This trade follows Lillard’s formal request for a trade made back in early July, as the Blazers opted for a patient approach in their negotiations.
Mallory Edens, the heiress to the Bucks and former girlfriend of Aaron Rodgers, expressed her reaction to the news.
She also took the opportunity to share some new swimsuit photos.
Lillard’s departure from Portland marks the end of an 11-season tenure in which he achieved seven All-Star selections, made seven All-NBA teams, and led the franchise to eight playoff appearances, including a Western Conference finals berth in 2018-19. He stands as the franchise’s all-time leader in points and 3-pointers and ranks second in assists.
Lillard, taking to X on Wednesday, expressed his excitement for the forthcoming chapter in his career.
As for Mallory’s romantic future, that remains uncertain.
