Famous country singer Luke Combs sent his fans into delirium with a ‘savage’ fantasy football punishment during his latest concert, where he brought two of his best friends on stage to sing in front of a packed stadium crowd.
Combs introduced his friends to the audience at Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium, identifying them as the losers of his fantasy football league, which he competes in annually with his best friends from high school.
Due to a scoring issue, there were co-losers in the league this year, meaning the duo finished in a shared last place. Combs had his two friends come out in their ‘blue suede shoes’ on Saturday to perform a duet of ‘Walking in Memphis’ by Marc Cohn.
Footage shows Combs’ friends each taking turns singing lead in front of tens of thousands of country music fans. The crowd’s reactions were captured on social media, with one fan commenting on X, “Luke a savage for that.”

Fantasy football punishments have become equally as daunting as the rewards, which often include bragging rights, cash, and a trophy. Severe punishments exist, such as the common example of spending 24 hours in a McDonald’s, where the loser can shave an hour off their time for every Big Mac consumed.
Combs did not disclose what the punishment would have been if he had finished last in the league, humorously noting that singing on stage would not be a misery for him.
He selected ‘Walking in Memphis’ for his friends despite the concert taking place in Cincinnati, adding a playful twist to the punishment.
The fans inside Paycor Stadium cheered for Combs’ friends as they sang, although their performances were not quite up to par for a live microphone in a football stadium.
The playful punishment and the friends’ earnest attempts at singing added a memorable and entertaining moment to the concert.
