Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark may have made an LSU star transfer.
LSU guard Hailey Van Lith simply stood no chance against Clark during their Elite Eight matchup on Monday night.
Van Lith had the unenviable task of trying to stop Clark and that task was simply not completed.
Clark scored 41 points for the game as Van Lith was left to simply shrug in bewilderment as to how she could go about stopping Clark.
Now it’s being announced that Van Lith will enter the NCAA transfer portal once again.
This from college sports business and transfer portal reporter Pete Nakos:
‘LSU star women’s basketball player Hailey Van Lith has entered the transfer portal, @On3sports has learned.’
The 22-year-old previously played for the Louisville Cardinals from 2020 to 2023 before transferring to LSU in 2023.
In her first season with the LSU Tigers, Van Lith played in 33 games and averaged 11.6 points per game and 3.6 assists per game.
It’s unclear where Van Lith will be looking to transfer to at this time.
