LSU running back Trey Holly will not be charged with attempted murder.
A grand jury in Union Parish, Louisiana rejected the attempted murder charge which stemmed from an incident in Farmerville, Louisiana involving Holly.
In February, following a shooting incident in Farmerville, Louisiana, Holly turned himself in to the authorities.
Holly and two others were arrested with connection to the shooting which did lead to two injuries.

As reported by The Advocate on Friday, Holly will face one felony count of illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrumentality, while avoiding murder charges.
Initially, he was also charged with aggravated criminal damage to property.
LSU has suspended Holly indefinitely from all team activities and has not provided any updates regarding his status, but Holly is reportedly preparing to possibly be reinstated.
Holly’s attorney, Mike Small, released a statement on Friday asserting that Holly will plead not guilty to the weapons charge.
Holly played in just three games as a freshman for the Tigers, but was extremely productive when on the field as he ran for 110 yards on just 11 carries.
Holly was a high school star at Union Parish High School and was named the Louisiana 3A Outstanding Offensive Player as a sophomore.
