The controversy surrounding Angel Reese’s absence from the LSU women’s basketball team persists.
Currently, Angel Reese is not present with the team, and head coach Kim Mulkey is growing weary of addressing the situation with the media. In response to questions about Reese, Mulkey became somewhat impatient and queried, “Were you at the press conference the other day?”
She went on to clarify that Reese is still a part of the team, even though she missed her second consecutive game on Monday.

“So I’ll say it again, Angel was not in uniform tonight. Angel is a part of this basketball team and Angel will be back sooner than later,” Mulkey emphasized.
Reese has been sidelined since the game against Kent State last Tuesday, where she played in the first half but was unexpectedly benched for the second half for reasons undisclosed.
Despite Reese’s absence, LSU is coming off a decisive 106-47 victory over Texas Southern and boasts a strong 6-1 record at the beginning of the season.
